Planning and Scheduling
- Create, update, and monitor detailed project timelines using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Prepare tender and baseline schedules in line with project scope and contractual requirements.
- Update and revise project schedules within the approved baseline.
- Recommend and implement schedule changes caused by scope variations or site conditions.
Progress and Delay Control
- Monitor actual progress against planned milestones and adjust schedules as needed.
- Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and delay analyses.
- Identify risks, prepare Extension of Time claims, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Recommend recovery actions for delayed activities.
- Provide official progress reports and delay notifications to clients and senior management.
Coordination and Reporting
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, designers, and subcontractors across project phases.
- Direct coordination between planning, procurement, and execution teams to support schedule adherence.
- Attend meetings, present schedule updates, and address client concerns about timelines.
- Provide schedule data for management decision-making.
- Escalate major schedule changes to the Project Manager or Senior Planning Engineer.
Records and Site Verification
- Verify progress and compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits to verify actual progress and collect data for schedule updates.
- Maintain accurate records of planning documents, revisions, and approvals.
- Finalize and submit project schedules for client and internal approval.
Requirements
- Ability to create, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Ability to analyze project progress, delays, risks, and recovery actions.
- Ability to coordinate planning, procurement, execution, project, and subcontractor teams.
