About the Role
GMG is seeking a Planner to support pre-season, in-season, and post-season management strategies to optimize sales, GPV, and inventory levels. The role involves MIS analytics, sales forecasting, and coordination with buying teams.

Responsibilities
- Prepares brand/category MIS analytics based on actual sales, sales forecasts, company order parameters, inventory checks, forthcoming events, replenishment needs etc.
- Maintains and analyzes information on brand/category sales history, stock budget, current inventory level, and prepares sales forecast by brand/category and season
- Monitors brand/category plans based on insights from store analytics, customer preference, historical trends and future outlook projected by the Buying team
- Coordinates with the buying team for necessary execution and ensures effective in season management across retail stores/areas
- Keeps abreast of the latest trends in planning to assess alignment/realignment of existing processes
- Ensures that no instances of stock outs occur on account of any discrepancy on part of planning
- Ensures identification of obsolete/slow moving stock and obtain management approval on markdowns and product discounts
- Prepares variance analysis reports of stocks and sales against budgeted figures, identify brand/category growth opportunities
- Monitors and sets targets by brand/category for GMROII and densities to increase profitability
- Ensure all Promotion or Sales plans get executed as per Trade Calendar
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

About the role
