Piling Site Supervisor

Role Overview

Work Location

• The role is based in Dukhan, Qatar.
• Work is performed in person at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise piling crews, operators, and labourers during daily site activities.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials with the Site Engineer and Construction Manager.
• Ensure piling follows approved drawings, method statements, and work sequences.
• Coordinate with surveyors on pile locations, levels, alignment, and installation tolerances.
• Monitor progress and report obstructions, breakdowns, installation difficulties, and delays.
• Maintain daily records of completed piles, manpower, equipment use, and site activities.
• Ensure safe rig movements, material handling, lifting operations, and exclusion zones.
• Coordinate inspections and corrective actions with HSE and QC personnel.
• Monitor equipment readiness and report maintenance requirements.
• Assist with pile testing, defect rectification, handover activities, and housekeeping.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience in piling works and associated foundation activities is mandatory.
• A valid Qatar ID at the time of application is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a Piling Site Supervisor or Piling Foreman is required.
• Applicants must understand piling equipment, installation procedures, and site safety requirements.
• Applicants must be able to read relevant drawings and follow setting-out information and installation tolerances.
• Applicants must be able to manage site crews, meet daily production targets, and maintain safety and quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to prepare basic daily site reports are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in solar project foundations and driven piling operations is preferred.
• Previous Qatar or GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Experience supervising high-volume piling works across multiple work fronts is preferred.
