- Adhere to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and paediatric LTC safety requirements while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying risks and enhancing operational efficiency within paediatric long term rehabilitation services
- Conduct comprehensive paediatric assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized, family centered physiotherapy treatment plans
- Educate children, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team on therapy goals, treatment plans, and safe participation in rehabilitation activities
- Monitor progress using standardized paediatric outcome measures, adjust interventions as needed, and ensure safety through ongoing risk assessment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete administrative tasks such as billing, insurance submissions, and equipment coordination
- Support quality assurance initiatives, participate in clinical program development, and contribute to service improvement in paediatric LTC
- Provide guidance to colleagues, maintain CME requirements, and promote compassionate, person centered care tailored to children with complex long term needs
Requirements
- Qualified Physiotherapist with a BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
- Additional specialty certifications such as Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, Bobath, or Mulligan Concept
- 6+ years of physiotherapy experience, including 4+ years in a defined specialty (ICU, Neuro, Orthopaedics, MSK, Sports Rehab) within a CARF/JCI accredited healthcare setting
- Licensed and certified per DOH/DHA requirements, holding BLS and specialty relevant certifications such as ACLS or PALS
- Strong clinical expertise across specialty areas, supported by advanced assessment, treatment planning, and evidence based rehabilitation skills
