- Provide comprehensive medical care to admitted patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management
- Act as the primary physician for assigned patients, ensuring continuity and coordination of care across disciplines
- Collaborate closely with nursing, rehabilitation, and allied health teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure timely documentation of clinical updates
- Respond to acute medical issues, emergencies, and deteriorating patients within the facility
- Facilitate appropriate referrals to specialists when required and ensure follow up on consultations
- Support discharge planning and transition of care to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Adhere to all clinical governance, regulatory, and accreditation standards (DOH/DHA), maintaining the highest level of professional practice
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and multidisciplinary case discussions
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Valid UAE license (DOH/DHA) or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Minimum 3 5 years of post internship clinical experience, preferably in hospital, rehabilitation, or long term care settings
- Experience in managing complex, chronic, and post acute cases is highly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage a broad range of medical conditions
