Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients referred to physiotherapy and organize individualized therapeutic programs
- Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment
- Conduct comprehensive paediatric assessments and develop individualized, family centered physiotherapy treatment plans
- Educate children, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team on therapy goals and treatment plans
- Monitor progress using standardized paediatric outcome measures and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete administrative tasks such as billing and insurance submissions
- Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in clinical program development
- Provide guidance to colleagues and maintain CME requirements
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
- 6+ years of physiotherapy experience, including 4+ years in a defined specialty (ICU, Neuro, Orthopaedics, MSK, Sports Rehab)
- Licensed and certified per DOH/DHA requirements
- BLS certification
- Additional specialty certifications such as Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, Bobath, or Mulligan Concept
- ACLS or PALS certification

Overview

- This role is responsible for evaluating patients referred to physiotherapy, organizing and implementing individualized therapeutic programs and monitoring the patients progress and response to treatment.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and paediatric LTC safety requirements while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Contributes to continuous improvement by identifying risks and enhancing operational efficiency within paediatric long‑term rehabilitation services.
- Conducts comprehensive paediatric assessments, establishes diagnoses, and develops individualized, family‑centered physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Educates children, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team on therapy goals, treatment plans, and safe participation in rehabilitation activities.
- Monitors progress using standardized paediatric outcome measures, adjusts interventions as needed, and ensures safety through ongoing risk assessment.
- Maintains accurate clinical documentation and completes administrative tasks such as billing, insurance submissions, and equipment coordination.
- Supports quality assurance initiatives, participates in clinical program development, and contributes to service improvement in paediatric LTC.
- Provides guidance to colleagues, maintains CME requirements, and promotes compassionate, person‑centered care tailored to children with complex long‑term needs.
Qualifications
- Qualified Physiotherapist with a BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy, plus additional specialty certifications such as Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, Bobath, or Mulligan Concept.
- 6+ years of physiotherapy experience, including 4+ years in a defined specialty (ICU, Neuro, Orthopaedics, MSK, Sports Rehab) within a CARF/JCI‑accredited healthcare setting.
- Licensed and certified per DOH/DHA requirements, holding BLS and specialty‑relevant certifications such as ACLS or PALS.
- Strong clinical expertise across specialty areas, supported by advanced assessment, treatment planning, and evidence‑based rehabilitation skills.
