Requirements

- Proficiency in analyzing operational data, preparing reports, and using relevant industrial software tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and logistics
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related technical field
- Previous experience in petrochemical or refinery operations management, preferably in the Gulf region
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid arrangement

Role Description
- The Petrochemical Operations Manager is a part time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on site work at industrial facilities and remote work from home.
- This role oversees daily operations of petrochemical production units, including monitoring process performance, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- The manager collaborates with cross functional teams to optimize production schedules, manage resource allocation, and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Responsibilities include reviewing operational data, preparing reports for senior leadership, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting incident investigations.
- The role also involves engaging with external partners and vendors as needed to ensure reliable supply chains and efficient plant operations.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of petrochemical processes, plant operations, and production optimization.
