Job Description
- Aldar Education is seeking a Personalised Learning Specialist (UAE National) for Rabdan Charter School in Abu Dhabi for AY 2026/27.
- Rabdan Charter School is an American Curriculum school committed to fulfilling the National Agenda for Emirati students.
Main Duties
- Support individual students and small groups during lessons and structured intervention sessions.
- Undertake a specialist role using subject specific expertise to deliver targeted learning activities.
- Plan and deliver intervention programmes in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Observe, monitor, and report on student progress during interventions and classroom learning.
- Liaise with subject teachers and leaders to ensure intervention content aligns with curriculum objectives.
- Coordinate the work of other support staff to support shared intervention goals.
- Access and update student progress data and records.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training opportunities, and performance reviews.
Specific Duties
- Deliver subject specific interventions to individuals or small groups.
- Adapt learning materials and approaches to meet varying needs.
- Monitor student engagement and understanding during sessions.
- Provide in class support to reinforce key learning objectives.
- Assist students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
- Prepare, organise, and maintain teaching resources and learning materials.
- Display and present students’ work to enhance the learning environment.
- Assist with daily classroom routines.
- Supervise students in the classroom and other school settings.
- Promote student wellbeing, self esteem, and responsible behaviour.
Qualifications
- SEN qualification – Diploma
- 2 years SEN experience
- English language skills or the language applied in the school curriculum.
