Job Description

  • Aldar Education is seeking a Personalised Learning Specialist (UAE National) for Rabdan Charter School in Abu Dhabi for AY 2026/27.
  • Rabdan Charter School is an American Curriculum school committed to fulfilling the National Agenda for Emirati students.

Main Duties

  • Support individual students and small groups during lessons and structured intervention sessions.
  • Undertake a specialist role using subject specific expertise to deliver targeted learning activities.
  • Plan and deliver intervention programmes in collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Observe, monitor, and report on student progress during interventions and classroom learning.
  • Liaise with subject teachers and leaders to ensure intervention content aligns with curriculum objectives.
  • Coordinate the work of other support staff to support shared intervention goals.
  • Access and update student progress data and records.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training opportunities, and performance reviews.

Specific Duties

  • Deliver subject specific interventions to individuals or small groups.
  • Adapt learning materials and approaches to meet varying needs.
  • Monitor student engagement and understanding during sessions.
  • Provide in class support to reinforce key learning objectives.
  • Assist students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
  • Prepare, organise, and maintain teaching resources and learning materials.
  • Display and present students’ work to enhance the learning environment.
  • Assist with daily classroom routines.
  • Supervise students in the classroom and other school settings.
  • Promote student wellbeing, self esteem, and responsible behaviour.

Qualifications

  • SEN qualification – Diploma
  • 2 years SEN experience
  • English language skills or the language applied in the school curriculum.
