Role Overview
Dr Scent is seeking a Perfumer to lead scent formulation, research and development innovation, and laboratory operations.
The role supports the company’s growing global presence and is based at the head office.
What You’ll Do
- Create and refine innovative fragrance formulations from concept to final specifications.
- Oversee laboratory operations, raw material quality control, and multi-site inventory.
- Research and implement emerging scent technologies such as encapsulation and ActiMoods.
- Engage directly with key suppliers and clients on bespoke fragrance projects.
- Lead new product launches.
- Deliver technical training to sales teams and international agents.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, perfumery, or a related field.
- Proven track record as a perfumer with laboratory and operations experience.
- Highly developed olfactory sense and creative formulation talent.
- Strong organizational skills and technical expertise in aroma compounds.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, is mandatory.
- Flexibility for frequent domestic and international travel.
