- Develop and manage a portfolio of Innovation Economy sectors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base
- Grow revenue by prospecting and sourcing new Payments business while retaining and expanding existing customer relationships
- Create strategic dialogues around key client centric issues, incorporating best practices, industry benchmarking, opportunity quantification, and solution positioning
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring a seamless client experience
- Collaborate with bankers and clients at senior and strategic levels to provide integrated Payments solutions
- Lead business process reviews aligned to key client sales opportunities and engage industry solutions specialists
- Raise new solution ideas while partnering with internal product stakeholders
- Represent the firm at industry, proprietary or networking events
- Manage the non credit risk for the customer portfolio and monitor profitability of assigned relationships
- Prospect, pitch, and deliver Payments solutions for both public and private companies
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to negotiate deals and manage the sales pipeline effectively
Requirements
- Experience in sales and business development within financial services or payments
- Ability to manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams including product, operations, and legal
- Knowledge of Payments solutions and industry trends
