About the Role

  • The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, helping to coordinate appointments, facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, and ensure high quality patient service throughout the care journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and follow up visits.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist patients with inquiries regarding treatments, procedures, and healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Support patient admissions, referrals, and discharge processes.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and healthcare regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical and management teams as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare coordination, patient services, customer service, or administration is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills and a patient centered approach.
