Job Description

  • Aldar Education is seeking a Parent Relations Executive for Yas American Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing AY26/27.
  • Yas American Academy opened in September 2016 providing high quality education following Massachusetts Common Core Curriculum.

Main Duties

  • Welcome all prospective parents and deal with initial enquiries.
  • Manage reception & front of house to ensure quality customer service.
  • Work with senior leadership and parent’s council to plan/organize events.
  • Deal with ADEK complaints and ensure parents complaints have been resolved.
  • Manage reception and front of house staff and assign tasks.
  • Ensure reception is staffed and tidy at all times.
  • Report to OM on a weekly basis with feedback from admin team.
  • Be central point of contact for parents and liaison between parents and staff.
  • Ensure all modes of communication from parents are monitored and addressed within given timeline.

Specific Duties

  • Maintain open lines of communication with existing parents throughout the year.
  • Send updated notifications from Leadership Team and teachers via email and newsletters.
  • Manage feedback process, acting as initial point of contact for parents.
  • Share weekly reports with school Principal on parent feedback.
  • Arrange school tours for prospective parents.
  • Organize parent/community events to engage parents.
  • Work closely with parent bodies such as Parent Council and Parent Ambassadors.
  • Support and advertise school’s parent engagement activities.
  • Manage and develop school communication channels such as newsletters.
  • Undertake regular surveys of new parent views on enrolment process.
  • Drive communication on reenrollment process to increase parent retention.
  • Work with Marketing team at HQ on enquiry generating activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the region.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience in Education sector preferred.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent office management skills and computer literacy.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferable.
