About the Role
Delano Dubai is seeking an In-Room Dining Order Taker to join their luxury resort team. The role involves handling guest orders with precision and warmth, ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities
- Answer all in room dining calls promptly with a warm, polished, and professional manner
- Take detailed food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all preferences, modifications, and dietary requirements are captured
- Maintain strong knowledge of all IRD menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and timings
- Communicate orders clearly and efficiently to kitchen and service teams
- Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful recommendations
- Monitor order progress and proactively update guests on timing or any relevant service updates
- Ensure all orders are checked for accuracy and presentation standards before dispatch
- Address guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary
- Accurately input and manage orders using hotel systems
- Maintain a calm, organised, and guest focused approach in a fast paced, high volume luxury environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality, ideally within in room dining, call centre, or front office operations in a luxury hotel
- Excellent verbal communication with a polished, calm, and guest focused telephone manner
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, sequence of service, and luxury guest standards
- High level of accuracy in order taking, system input, and guest request handling
- Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure while delivering consistent service excellence
- Works closely with kitchen, service, and front office teams to ensure seamless execution
- Relevant qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience) is preferred
