About the Role
Delano Dubai seeks a Commis I to support the kitchen brigade in preparing high-quality dishes. The role involves food preparation, mise-en-place, and maintaining hygiene standards in a luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of ingredients and dishes according to recipes and brand standards
- Ensure station is fully set, organized, and ready for service
- Support senior chefs during service by completing tasks accurately and promptly
- Maintain consistency in food preparation, presentation, and portioning
- Follow HACCP, hygiene, and food safety procedures
- Assist with proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
- Work closely with Demi Chef de Partie and Chef de Partie
- Actively learn and develop culinary techniques under supervision
Requirements
- Previous experience as Commis I or Commis II in a luxury hotel or high end restaurant
- Basic understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong focus on accuracy, cleanliness, and presentation
- Understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure kitchen environment
- Formal culinary qualification or international culinary training preferred
