About the Role
A global manufacturer in industrial equipment seeks an Order Management Specialist for the MEA region. The role manages quotation-to-order workflows, coordinates with commercial, technical, finance, and logistics teams, and ensures accurate ERP data management.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring timely follow up and processing
- Track and update quotation status in ERP systems, including customer interactions and follow up actions
- Ensure timely conversion of quotations into confirmed orders and update system records
- Maintain accurate documentation of all quotation activities in business systems
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of quotations
- Generate regular reports on open quotations, quote aging, conversion rates, lost opportunities, and pending follow ups
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to management
- Escalate commercial or operational issues such as pricing concerns, approval delays, or payment related blocks
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure efficient order conversion and resolution of bottlenecks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 10 years of experience in service operations, sales support, or commercial operations within Large Manufacturing/Engineering industry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar)
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Role Summary
- The Order Management Specialist is responsible for managing end to end quotation lifecycle activities.
- Ensures timely processing of customer RFQs, maintains accurate system records, and drives conversion of quotations into confirmed orders.
- Focuses on improving operational efficiency, supporting commercial execution, and ensuring smooth coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring timely follow up and processing.
- Track and update quotation status in ERP systems, including customer interactions, follow up actions, expected closure timelines, and delay reasons.
- Ensure timely conversion of quotations into confirmed orders and update system records accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of all quotation activities in relevant business systems.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of quotations through the sales cycle.
- Generate regular reports on open quotations, quote aging, conversion rates, lost opportunities, and pending follow ups.
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to management.
- Escalate commercial or operational issues such as pricing concerns, approval delays, or payment related blocks.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for reporting and analysis.
