Responsibilities
- Lead end to end financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the business.
- Explore, source, and deploy the latest AI and automated technologies to improve efficiency, turnaround times, and the quality of financial reporting and systems.
- Analyze and restructure financial performance, including balance sheet optimization, working capital management, and financial improvement initiatives.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights from P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies, revenue enhancement opportunities, and alternative financial solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Partner with operations, commercial, and procurement teams to embed financial discipline and improve business performance.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high performing finance team.
- Provide senior leadership with timely, decision ready financial reporting and strategic recommendations.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and key financial stakeholders.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualified (mandatory)
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance managerial experience, including senior finance management responsibility
- Strong background within Food Services, Food & Beverage or Hospitality sector
- Proven track record of financial turnaround, restructuring, transformation, or profitability improvement initiatives
- Hands on experience managing operational P&Ls, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and margin improvement initiatives
- Experience engaging with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies within the UAE
- UAE experience is a must
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations
