Role Overview
MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Oracle Functional Analyst for a 12-month contract role with a client in Vancouver.
The role focuses on Oracle Finance applications, financial initiatives, business solutions, and end-user support.
Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, documentation, and delivery of business solutions for financial initiatives.
- Lead Oracle implementations and upgrades, including gap analysis, re-engineering, release-functionality investigation, setup, testing, and training.
- Analyze business problems and requirements with users and liaise with other IT teams.
- Support Finance application end users as the primary IT contact and engage with business-area leaders.
- Evaluate Oracle Finance components and maintain a roadmap of future process-improvement initiatives.
- Diagnose system errors and coordinate with development teams on solutions and fixes.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle Finance applications in a consulting or business-critical environment.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle financial modules, including at least three Cloud modules; two EBS modules are preferred.
- Strong Oracle Finance foundation and knowledge of contemporary systems and development methodologies.
- Excellent English communication skills.
