About the Role
ADNOC Logistics & Services seeks a Heavy Vehicle Operator to drive road tankers, deliver products, and ensure vehicle safety. Requires 3+ years experience driving heavy vehicles transporting inflammable petroleum products, UAE Driver's License, and knowledge of English and Arabic.

Responsibilities
- Inspect the vehicle before loading to ensure routine maintenance checks have been carried out and report any defects.
- Drive road tanker from loading bay to various customer or filling station/depot locations and back according to dispatch schedules.
- Assist the supply operator for connection/disconnection and loading of road tankers in the loading gantry.
- Collect Product Delivery Note/Product Transfer Notes from Dispatch Supervisor and handover to customers for signature.
- Connect and disconnect hoses to storage tanks at customer/filling station/depot sites.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations, including use of protective clothing and equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service to ensure customer loyalty.
Requirements
- Minimum High School education.
- At least 3 years’ experience in driving H/D vehicles and transporting inflammable petroleum products.
- Knowledge of English & Arabic languages (spoken & written).
- UAE Driver’s License.
- Familiarity with the basics of customer service.

Job Purpose
- To drive heavy duty road tankers from Sharjah Depot depots to deliver to various customers, filling station/depots locations.
- To ensure that vehicle is in good operating condition for delivery of products.
- To comply with all safety precautions and standards.
- To attend loading/offloading in the designate facilities.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Inspects the vehicle before loading to ensure that routine maintenance checks have been carried out by workshop personnel and informs any defects to Distribution Supervisor.
- Checks availability of hoses and couplings in the vehicle. Ensures that product compartment of the vehicle is empty before loading any products.
- Ensures that fuel tanks are full before proceeding on trips and that the vehicle is properly sealed before proceeding to deliver product.
- Obtains instructions from Dispatch Supervisor and handover to loaders in order to load the products. Ensures that compartments are sealed after loading.
- Heavy Vehicle Operator drives road tanker from loading bay to various customer or filling station/depot locations and back, according to dispatch schedules and work shifts.
- Assist the supply operator for connection/disconnection and loading of road tankers in the loading gantry.
- Collects Product Delivery Note/Product Transfer Notes from Dispatch Supervisor. After loading is finished gives them to the depot gate.
- Handover Product Delivery Note/Product Transfer Notes to customers/filling stations for their signature and returns them to Dispatch Assistant / Dispatch Supervisors after delivery of products.
- Connects and disconnects hoses to storage tanks at customer/filling station/depot sites. Ensures that the person in charge off loading and receiving the product at customer site or filling station is present and ready to receive the product.
- Inspects vehicle prior to usage and ensures that vehicle is in suitable working condition and fit for delivery of product.
- Complies with all safety rules and regulations and adheres to (particularly speed limits) including the use of protective clothing and equipment.
- Provides outstanding customer service and strives to provide a high level of service to all customers, at all times to ensure customer loyalty.

- Minimum High School education
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- At least 3 years’ experience in driving H/D vehicles and transporting inflammable petroleum products
- Knowledge of English & Arabic languages (spoken & written).
- UAE Driver’s License
- Familiarity with the basics of customer service.
