to oversee and manage end-to-end operations of

online marketplace management, platform operations, warehousing, inventory, and procurement

This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, vendor performance, and seamless marketplace execution.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing a
digital marketplace environment
, scaling operations, and aligning logistics, inventory, and procurement processes with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the
- overall operations of the MAKANI & online marketplace
- , ensuring smooth day-to-day platform performance
- Lead
- online merchant onboarding
- , compliance checks, and operational readiness
- Monitor marketplace KPIs, vendor performance, order fulfillment, and customer experience
- Oversee
- warehousing operations
- , inventory planning, stock control, and demand forecasting
- Manage
- procurement activities
- , supplier relationships, and cost optimization
- Coordinate with technology, logistics, finance, and commercial teams for seamless operations
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Proven 3 to 6 yrs of experience managing an
- online marketplace or e-commerce platform
- Strong background in
- warehouse management, inventory control, and procurement operations
- Experience with
- platform operations, monitoring, and vendor management
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple operational stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Desirable And Advantage
- Experience in
- logistics, supply chain, warehousing, freight forwarding, or transport services
- .
- Knowledge of
- customs clearance processes, trade documentation, or regulatory requirements
- related to logistics and cargo.
- Experience working with government, semi-government, or regulated platforms is an added advantage.
