Job Summary
Operations Manager role overseeing business operations, project execution, commercial activities, and resource management in the Oil & Gas, engineering, and EPC sector.
The role reports to the COO and requires strong leadership, operational, project, and business development experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and coordination across departments.
- Manage Oil & Gas projects from award through completion, including schedule, budget, standards, performance, risks, and contracts.
- Support tenders, quotations, client relationships, negotiations, sales, and business development.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, financial performance, manpower, recruitment, procurement, suppliers, logistics, and resource use.
- Ensure HSE, regulatory, company policy, and contractual compliance.
- Lead department heads, establish KPIs, drive improvement and growth, and report performance to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of progressive Oil & Gas industry experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
- At least five years in a senior management role.
- Experience across operations, projects, sales, finance, HR, procurement, and administration.
- Knowledge of project, commercial, contract, financial, and risk management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics, plus advanced Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
- PMP certification is preferred.
