Role Overview

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for operational management of the school campus.

The role provides strategic leadership across health and safety, facilities management, contract management, legal and compliance requirements, campus planning, and support staff management.

The Role

  • Provide strategic leadership for health and safety, facilities management, and campus planning across the school.
  • Lead capital projects, including capital expenditure budgets, governance structures, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee campus renovations, modifications, and large-scale procurement projects with landlords, contractors, and design teams.
  • Manage third-party contracts and daily operations covering security, cleaning, maintenance, school buses, and onsite catering.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory agencies, Nord Anglia Education standards, and legal and compliance requirements.
  • Lead budgeting, procurement, and event logistics across all non-academic school functions.
  • Line manage the Procurement Officer, Operations Assistant, facilities team, bus support assistants, and medical team.
  • Work with the Extended Leadership Team on space planning, room moves, and building maintenance.
  • Advise the Principal on resource requirements and drive cost savings through vendor and supplier negotiation.

The Successful Candidate

  • University degree.
  • Previous experience in this role or a similar operations management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • High levels of personal integrity.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while remaining calm.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to prompt others to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Qatar or regional Middle East experience is desirable.
