We’re Hiring: Operations Architect

📍 Doha, Qatar

We’re looking for a highly experienced

Operations Architect

to define and govern the operational backbone of a large-scale, multi-vendor digital platform.

This role ensures services are production-ready, observable, resilient, and supportable at enterprise scale.

What You’ll Do

  • You will design and standardize the end-to-end operational model across platforms, vendors, and environments:
  • Define operational architecture and ITSM-aligned service management model
  • Establish observability standards (metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, OTel instrumentation)
  • Define SLOs/SLAs, error budgets, and operational KPIs with vendor accountability
  • Design incident management workflows (escalation, RCA, ITSM integration, runbooks)
  • Define change and release management processes (canary releases, rollback, feature flags)
  • Establish DR/BCP strategies (RPO/RTO, failover design, backup/restore testing)
  • Define capacity and performance management practices (load testing, scaling, resource planning)
  • Integrate security operations (SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, patch SLAs)
  • Implement FinOps operational controls (cost monitoring, tagging, budgets, optimization)
  • Lead operational readiness, handover, and stabilization across vendors

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps leadership, or operations architecture
  • Strong background in cloud-native operations and service reliability engineering
  • Experience defining and managing SLOs, SLAs, and operational KPIs
  • Deep understanding of observability and telemetry-driven operations
  • Proven experience in DR, incident management, and production support models
  • Ability to standardize operations across multiple vendors and teams
