Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our equipment rental business, with a focus on Access Work Platforms (AWP).
This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of AWP machinery, and expertise in managing rental fleets and dealership operations.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our rental fleet, which includes maintaining optimal fleet availability, overseeing maintenance schedules, and managing customer relations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in top condition, meets safety standards, and is ready for immediate deployment.
You will also oversee the repair, inspection, and servicing of all equipment, ensuring that any downtime is minimized and the fleet is operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- This role will involve liaising directly with clients, understanding their equipment needs, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure the availability of equipment and provide updates on inventory, equipment performance, and market trends.
- As part of managing the Spider Lifts dealership, the Operations Manager will work closely with the factory to facilitate technical training for the sales and service teams and ensure the equipment is aligned with market demand.
- Additionally, you will handle warranty claims and customer service inquiries and maintain positive relationships with customers to drive repeat business.
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs associated with fleet management, repair, and dealership operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and profitability, working closely with senior management to align company goals with operational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management within the equipment rental sector, with specialized knowledge of AWP machinery and other equipment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a hands-on approach to management.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is preferred, along with a strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and industry regulations.
- This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate both the technical and business sides of operations, ensuring the delivery of top-tier services and equipment to our clients.
