Role Overview
The Offshore Structural Designer will support structural design activities for offshore jackets and topsides.
The position is part of Saipem’s Asset Based Services Business Line within the Offshore Structural Engineering department.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project structural drawings under the supervision of the Lead Designer.
- Perform and update 3D models for design and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with Project Specialists and other Designers to maintain consistency across disciplines.
- Prepare drawings, material takeoffs, 3D models, and other project deliverables.
- Apply company procedures, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Support design reviews by updating documentation and implementing comments and revisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a technical diploma.
- One to two years of offshore engineering experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software is preferred.
- English language capability.
