Purpose of the Position
The position supports purchasing activities for goods, services, equipment, packages, and subcontracts.
Procurement Responsibilities
- Issue vendor requests for quotation and support technical and commercial proposal preparation while maintaining confidentiality.
- Compare vendor proposals through commercial bid tabulations and lead commercial or economic negotiations.
- Prepare purchase orders and subcontracts, manage deviations, close bids, and communicate outcomes to vendors.
- Follow up on purchase order or subcontract revisions and review technical documentation linked to purchasing requests.
Education and Experience
- Procurement background is required.
- Ten years of professional experience is required.
Languages and IT Skills
- English is mandatory.
- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is required.
Contract and Working Hours
- The position is offered as a permanent, project-based contract.
- Working hours are 45 hours per week.
- Corporate benefits are offered.
Location
- The position is located in Qatar.
