Position Purpose
The Procurement QC Supervisor supports Contractor and Client quality control requirements when procuring materials from vendors.
The position is part of the Inspection Team within the POSE department and operates under company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review project procurement QA/QC scopes of work, Aramco Schedule Q, and project specifications.
- Support engineering disciplines with supplier inspection and testing queries during procurement.
- Review material requisitions and verify that quality requirements are met.
- Review and approve Inspection Test Plans.
- Coordinate procedure submissions and approvals with vendors, Engineering, and NDT Level III personnel.
- Prepare and submit Inspection Assignment Packages.
- Organize pre-inspection meetings and monitor inspection coverage.
- Coordinate with vendors, the client, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Manage nonconformance reports and punch lists.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or technology.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Procurement QC Supervisor in the oil and gas industry.
- Comprehensive English proficiency.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and NDE techniques and application.
- Experience with MS Office and SAP.
Work Arrangement
- The role may involve travel to project sites depending on assigned projects and project scope.
