Role Overview
Peergrowth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its medical center and support young children.
The role requires an existing client book and a valid DHA License.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments for speech, language, sensory, fine motor, and functional developmental skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with medical-center standards.
- Provide speech therapy for articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, social communication, and early literacy.
- Deliver occupational therapy focused on sensory integration, fine motor skills, handwriting, activities of daily living, attention, and school readiness.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Educate families on home-based strategies to support therapy goals.
- Bring and manage an own client book while contributing to new patient acquisition.
Requirements
- A valid DHA License is mandatory.
- An existing client book is required.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or a related pediatric therapy field is required.
- Experience with children aged 3–12 in a clinical or therapy-center environment is required.
- Strong understanding of developmental delays, speech disorders, sensory processing challenges, and learning difficulties is required.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
