Role Overview
Support and maintain SFM passive network infrastructure to ensure network performance, reliability, and timely issue resolution.
Network Systems Delivery
- Install, maintain, and repair UTP, FOC, multi-core, and LAN cabling solutions.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing cabling systems to maintain network performance.
- Use tools, equipment, and materials for cabling installation and troubleshooting.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare reports and BOQs for installations and maintenance tasks.
- Manage network component inventory for installations and repairs.
- Design and implement network cabling overlays for SFM sports events.
- Prepare and update network drawings and patching matrices.
- Patch and mount active devices, manage patch cords, and provide remote support.
Communication and Documentation
- Communicate technical information clearly to colleagues, clients, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation, site inspection reports, BOQs, and troubleshooting records.
- Generate network performance reports and maintain accurate records of activities.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate project progress and challenges.
