Venue Technology Manager

Role Overview

Venue Operations and Technical Support

• Oversee the lifecycle of venue ICT services and coordinate with stadium, facility management, security, and venue ICT teams.
• Track ICT, ELV, service desk, incident, risk, and SLA issues through resolution.
• Plan infrastructure readiness, maintain technical rooms, and supervise installed technology spaces.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance and maintain system records and asset lists.

Event Technology Delivery

• Support site surveys, installation planning, quality checks, system testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee AV/ELV and event overlay ICT installations, including displays, sound systems, wiring, and control systems.
• Coordinate event technology requirements, equipment allocation, handover, and acceptance testing.
• Provide on-site technical support and real-time troubleshooting during events and bump-in activities.
• Manage vendors, document event setups and issues, and perform post-event bump-out checks.

Experience and Education

• At least 15 years of ICT and AV/ELV implementation, maintenance, and support experience.
• Experience with ICT infrastructure, AV/ELV, broadcasting, CCTV, access control, and related venue technologies.
• Proven IT management experience and experience with project management methods and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of low-voltage systems, protocols, and standards such as Crestron, Extron, and AMX.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking principles.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Professional project management certifications are preferred.
• Large-scale ICT AV/ELV project experience in sports venues or similar environments is preferred.
