We are looking for a skilled and proactive

L2 Network Security Engineer

to join our IT Infrastructure team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in network security operations, routing & switching, incident troubleshooting, and enterprise monitoring environments.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Network Security Operations

  • Administer and support

Palo Alto

and

Fortigate

  • firewalls.
  • Manage security policies, VPN access, and firewall rule changes.
  • Support

Symantec Proxy And Bluecoat

  • for web security and traffic filtering.
  • Administer

Cisco Ise

  • for access control, authentication, and endpoint profiling.
  • Support

Cisco Duo Mfa

for VPN and internal applications.

Routing & Switching

  • Troubleshoot routing issues using

OSPF, EIGRP, BGP

  • .
  • Support Cisco infrastructure including

Catalyst And Nexus Switches

and

Isr And Asr Routers

  • .
  • Configure and manage VLANs, trunking, HSRP, STP, and network redundancy.

Monitoring & Incident Management

  • Monitor infrastructure using

Solarwinds Orion Platform (Npm And Ncm)

  • .
  • Investigate alerts, outages, and performance issues.
  • Manage configuration backups and DR readiness.
  • Handle L2 incidents and escalate complex cases to L3 teams.
  • 🔹 Required Skills
  • ✔ Hands-on experience with Palo Alto / Fortigate Firewalls
  • ✔ Cisco Routing & Switching administration
  • ✔ OSPF / EIGRP / BGP troubleshooting
  • ✔ VLAN / STP / HSRP / NAT / IPsec
  • ✔ Cisco ISE / Proxy solutions exposure
  • ✔ SolarWinds monitoring tools
  • ✔ Strong troubleshooting and incident handling skills
  • 🔹 Preferred Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of experience in Network / Security Operations
  • CCNA / CCNP / NSE / Palo Alto certifications preferred
  • Experience in enterprise support environments
