About the Role
Mindtel is hiring an experienced L3 Network Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Dubai. The role requires expert-level Palo Alto Firewall experience and MOFA-attested degree. You will provide L3 support for enterprise and hybrid cloud networks, handling complex incidents, root cause analysis, and network security.
Key Skills for This Role
Responsibilities
- Provide L3 level support for enterprise LAN, WAN, SD WAN, VPN, firewall, and wireless infrastructure
- Act as final escalation point for complex and high impact network incidents
- Perform deep troubleshooting across on premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Perform Root Cause Analysis for recurring and critical network issues
- Lead problem management activities and implement permanent corrective actions
- Manage and support routing and switching environments using BGP and OSPF
- Support SD WAN platforms to ensure resiliency and performance
- Manage core network services including DNS and DHCP
- Administer and support Palo Alto Firewalls including security policies, NAT, IPSec/SSL VPNs, traffic inspection, threat prevention, and security hardening
- Support and manage Cisco Firepower Threat Defense firewalls
- Support Microsoft Azure Networking including VNets, subnets, NSGs, UDRs, Azure VPN Gateway, and hybrid connectivity
- Operate and support Cisco DNA Center for network assurance and automation
Requirements
- MOFA attested degree is mandatory
- Expert level Palo Alto Firewall experience
- Immediate to 15 days notice period
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with L3 ownership
- Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Networking
- Experience with Cisco DNAC, FTD, ISE, WLC
- Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, LAN/WAN, and SD WAN
- Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and enterprise network services
- F5 Load Balancer experience

Role Overview

- The role requires strong hands on experience in network security, cloud networking, automation, wireless, load balancing, problem management, RCA, and change governance.
Key Responsibilities

- Prepare RCA reports and preventive recommendations
- Manage and support routing and switching environments using BGP and OSPF
- Support SD WAN platforms to ensure resiliency and performance
- Manage core network services including DNS and DHCP
- Administer and support Palo Alto Firewalls including security policies, NAT, IPSec/SSL VPNs, traffic inspection, threat prevention, and security hardening
- Support and manage Cisco Firepower Threat Defense firewalls
- Ensure firewall configurations align with security policies and compliance requirements

- 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with L3 ownership

Certifications Preferred / Added Advantage
- CCNP Enterprise / Security
- CCIE preferred
- PCNSE strongly preferred
- AZ 700 – Azure Network Engineer Associate
- F5 CA or F5 Certified Specialist LTM
- ITIL 4 Foundation preferred
Salary
- AED 17,000 – 18,000 fixed per month
