We are looking for a highly skilled MS SQL & Oracle Database Administrator with 8+ years of experience to manage mission-critical production and disaster recovery environments. - Administer, maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database environments
- Manage production and DR databases ensuring high availability and optimal performance
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations
- Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability
- Manage Oracle Data Guard, RMAN backups, ASM, and RAC environments
- Perform database housekeeping activities including index rebuilds, statistics gathering, reorganization, and space management
- Troubleshoot database performance issues, deadlocks, and system related incidents
- Manage database security, user profiles, permissions, and access controls
- Support Windows Server 2016/2019 environments and Microsoft Clustering technologies
- Create and maintain database scripts, automation tasks, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve complex issues
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a DBA
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database administration
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Proficiency in performance tuning and capacity management
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and RAC
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 and Microsoft Clustering
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
