• The National Air Logistics Aerospace Operational Care Manager is a senior operational role responsible for managing and developing the Aerospace product nationwide.
• This position drives focused efforts to provide technical solutions to the business, ensure high operational quality, and achieve strategic objectives related to customer acquisition and retention.
• The role also supports the growth of the brand within the Aerospace market and contributes to achieving service delivery targets.
• In addition, it is responsible for managing integrated technical and operational solutions in close collaboration with business units and functional areas such as Finance and Customer Solutions.

• How you create impact
• Manage aerospace operations, ensuring a high-performing team through effective performance management, training programs, and the selection of suitable candidates in line with customer expectations.
• Drive operational excellence by managing rates and service contracts, ensuring optimal service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of customer care by ensuring operational staff deliver professional service, adhering to local SOPs and timely invoicing processes.
• Lead regular business reviews with clients, introducing innovative processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis for customer issues, implement corrective actions, and produce KPI reports for continuous improvement.
• Manage proactive event and exception handling, including escalation of operational issues to customers when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with business units, leadership, and stakeholders at all levels within Kuehne+Nagel.Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients to understand their needs and identify business opportunities.
• Take full responsibility for the business solution P&L, monitoring costs versus revenue and achieving agreed budget targets.
• Ensure adequate resource allocation, prepare regular reports, support pricing and tenders, represent the business in key events, and ensure full compliance with QSHE standards and relevant directives.
• What we would like you to bring
• Several years of experience in aviation/aerospace operations, preferably within Air Logistics.
• Solid exposure to international environments and cross-border operations.Initial leadership experience (direct and/or virtual), with the ability to work within a matrix organization.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, with exposure to aerospace industry requirements.
• Good knowledge of civil aviation regulations, customs procedures, and operational compliance standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven teamwork mindset with an affinity for IT systems and digital tools.
• Proactive, solution-oriented personality with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and continuous improvement skills under pressure.
