Responsibilities
- Understand business needs before building and take solutions from discovery through production.
- Design, build, deploy, and continuously improve enterprise-grade agentic AI applications.
- Build multi-step agents that call tools and APIs, manage context, handle exceptions, and support human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval tuning, grounding, and source traceability.
- Build MCP integrations with backend systems through REST/OpenAPI, webhooks, and event-driven patterns with secure authentication.
- Apply tool calling, schema validation, retries, fallbacks, and guardrails in structured LLM solutions.
- Coordinate with business product owners, AI value architects, and other squads.
- Own significant AI use cases end to end and drive quality, evaluation, and reliability.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of production-grade software development experience, including at least 3 years with GenAI and LLMs.
- At least 1 year of hands-on Agentic AI experience with a record of taking solutions to production.
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of MCP is required.
- Strong Python and working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript are required.
- Experience with async programming, FastAPI, Pydantic, Git, CI/CD, testing, error handling, and logging is required.
- Experience with at least one listed agent framework or enterprise AI platform is required.
- Experience with at least one listed vector database or search platform is required.
- Java or C# experience is a plus.
Technical stack
- Agent frameworks and platforms may include LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, Microsoft Foundry, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, or Google Vertex/Gemini.
- Vector search technologies may include Azure AI Search, pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, or OpenSearch.
