Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and administer ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
- Manage Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, and ArcGIS Web Adaptor.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain environments across development, test, and production.
- Manage high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and restoration strategies.
- Configure federated servers, hosting servers, GIS services, and service publishing.
- Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and system health; troubleshoot complex platform issues.
- Implement security, authentication, authorization, SSL certificates, and role-based access.
- Integrate ArcGIS Enterprise with Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and enterprise security infrastructure.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Support migrations, upgrades, environment refreshes, and production deployments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior GIS Enterprise administrators and engineers.
Required Technical Skills
- At least 8 years of GIS Enterprise or GIS infrastructure experience with strong hands-on Esri ArcGIS Enterprise expertise.
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor, federation, and distributed GIS architecture.
- Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience with Enterprise Geodatabase and database connectivity.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
- Experience with IIS, SSL/TLS, certificates, DNS, networking, and load balancing.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with backup, recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, performance monitoring, and optimization.
