Role Overview

This is a 12–14 month temporary role as HR Risk and Employee Relations CoE Manager for the Middle East.

The role shapes the HR Risk and Employee Relations framework and advises senior leadership on complex workplace matters.

The position is listed for Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha.

Employee Relations and Risk

  • Lead employee relations investigations involving grievances, misconduct, and workplace conflicts.
  • Advise HR services, business leaders, employees, and managers on complex employee relations matters.
  • Identify workplace issues and address them through preventive measures such as training and policy updates.
  • Maintain Middle East case data, document conversations, and prepare high-quality reports.
  • Analyze employee relations trends, outcomes, and data to develop measurable strategic interventions.

Policy and Process Development

  • Own and develop policies and processes for employee relations, workplace conduct, and HR risk management.
  • Align policies with organizational objectives and compliance requirements in partnership with HR leadership.
  • Ensure policies are communicated and understood across the organization.
  • Drive efficiency improvements through offshoring, outsourcing, and technology.

Knowledge Building and Collaboration

  • Provide structural solutions and knowledge sharing to help HR Services handle challenging discussions.
  • Develop templates, resources, and training programs that improve independent process management.
  • Act as a liaison between HR Services and other functions on escalated issues and resolutions.
  • Build relationships across HR CoEs and serve as a trusted partner to employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Represent the organization to regulatory bodies or external auditors when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or Business.
  • Educational background in employment law or practical experience with complex employment or workplace issues involving a legal angle.
  • At least 7 years of experience in HR operations, employee relations, or HR risk management.
  • Employee relations experience is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of workplace policies and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and handle sensitive matters discreetly.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required; Arabic is a plus.
