Responsibilities
- Prepare and review commercial submissions, including BOQ pricing and detailed rate analysis
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify cost risks and discrepancies
- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate material and subcontractor quotations
- Develop competitive cost estimates while identifying value engineering and cost saving opportunities
- Assess project cost risks, contingencies, and allowances
- Prepare cost comparison reports, variance analysis, and management summaries
- Ensure all estimation records, rate analysis, and correspondence are properly documented and archived for future reference
- Participate in internal review meetings to align project costing with strategic pricing decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7–10 years of proven experience in MEP estimation, tendering, and budgeting for large scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Hands on experience estimating complete MEP works for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure developments
- Strong expertise in BOQ analysis, cost estimation, and rate build up
- Proficiency in ERP systems, cost estimation software, and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Sound knowledge of tendering procedures, contract conditions, and project documentation (FIDIC knowledge is an advantage)
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Job Overview

Qualifications
