The company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Static Equipment.
The role covers FEED and Detailed Engineering phases for Oil & Gas projects and requires experience on ADNOC Onshore projects.
Engineering Responsibilities
- Execute and support static-equipment engineering activities during FEED and Detailed Design phases.
- Perform equipment selection, sizing, and technical evaluation for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air-cooled exchangers, plate exchangers, filters, reactors, and columns.
- Prepare and review equipment datasheets, specifications, and requisitions.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
- Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with process, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and model reviews.
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Resolve technical queries and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of Oil & Gas engineering experience focused on static equipment.
- Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design phases.
- Mandatory experience working on ADNOC Onshore projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air-cooled exchangers, plate exchangers, filters, reactors, and columns.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and other relevant standards for static equipment design and fabrication.
- Familiarity with engineering software and tools used for static equipment design and analysis.
