Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical maintenance activities for HVAC and ventilation equipment, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and components
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate with operations and project teams to minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement of equipment performance and reliability
- Document maintenance activities, maintain accurate service records, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Contribute to optimizing energy efficiency and equipment lifespan while supporting successful delivery of ventilation projects
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance, with hands on experience working on HVAC and ventilation systems
- Demonstrated expertise in Maintenance Engineering, including planning, coordinating, and improving maintenance processes and procedures
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, focusing on reducing downtime and extending equipment lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation technologies, and mechanical components such as fans, motors, and ductwork
- Familiarity with safety regulations, quality standards, and relevant international certifications for mechanical and HVAC equipment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications, and use diagnostic tools and maintenance software
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in cross functional teams

Role Description
- The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is a full time hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on site work at client facilities and some work from home flexibility.
- The role involves overseeing mechanical maintenance activities for HVAC and ventilation equipment, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and components.
- The engineer will plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate with operations and project teams to minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement of equipment performance and reliability.
- Day to day responsibilities also include documenting maintenance activities, maintaining accurate service records, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will contribute to optimizing energy efficiency and equipment lifespan while supporting successful delivery of ventilation projects.
Qualifications
