- Design, review, and implement fire protection and prevention measures for HVAC and ventilation projects
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
- Coordinate the installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems and extinguishers
- Verify that fire safety systems are integrated effectively with ventilation solutions
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to prepare technical documentation, fire safety plans, and emergency procedures
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on fire prevention best practices
- Monitor system performance, recommend improvements, and support audits and certification processes related to fire safety
Requirements
- Skills in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety, including risk assessment, code compliance, and development of emergency procedures
- Skills in Fire Protection Engineering, with experience in designing and evaluating fire protection solutions integrated with HVAC and ventilation systems
- Skills related to Fire Suppression Systems, including specification, installation oversight, inspection, testing, and maintenance
- Skills in Fire Extinguisher selection, deployment, inspection, and staff training on proper usage
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of international and local fire codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, UAE Fire Code) and experience with large scale commercial or industrial projects
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with proficiency in using design and documentation tools relevant to fire protection systems

Role Description
- The Fire Protection Specialist is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
- This role is responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing fire protection and prevention measures for HVAC and ventilation projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies.
- Day to day tasks include conducting site inspections and risk assessments, coordinating the installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems and extinguishers, and verifying that fire safety systems are integrated effectively with ventilation solutions.
- The specialist collaborates with project managers, engineers, and contractors to prepare technical documentation, fire safety plans, and emergency procedures, and provides training and guidance to site teams on fire prevention best practices.
- The role also involves monitoring system performance, recommending improvements, and supporting audits and certification processes related to fire safety.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety, including risk assessment, code compliance, and development of emergency procedures.
