We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer – MEP to support the design, installation, commissioning, and site execution of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and chiller plant.

Responsibilities
- Support the design, installation, commissioning, and site execution of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and chiller plant systems.
- Design, review, and supervise MEP mechanical systems.
- Oversee HVAC installation, commissioning, and system performance optimization.
- Verify load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Conduct quality inspections ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP construction projects
- Proven experience with HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and chiller plant systems
- UPDA/MMUP certification is mandatory
- QCDD certification is preferred
- GCC/Qatar experience is highly preferred

Job Overview

- This is a full time position based in Qatar.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP construction projects
- Proven experience with HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and chiller plant systems
- UPDA/MMUP certification is mandatory
- QCDD certification is preferred
- GCC/Qatar experience is highly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in designing, reviewing, and supervising MEP mechanical systems
- Capable of overseeing HVAC installation, commissioning, and system performance optimization
- Adept at verifying load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
- Experience conducting quality inspections while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
- Effective coordination with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Strong technical problem solving abilities with a focus on timely project delivery and site issue resolution
