Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting (Building Services / MEP Consultancy)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems for building services projects in the UAE.

The candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and authority submission of mechanical systems for residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and high-rise developments in compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.

• Prepare mechanical design drawings and calculations for HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Develop concept, schematic, detailed, and authority submission designs.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, international codes, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor proposals.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams.
• Provide technical support during project execution and construction stages.
• Support timely delivery of projects while maintaining design quality and coordination standards.
• Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant engineering tools for project development.
• Ensure compliance with:
• UAE authority regulations
• UAE Civil Defense requirements
• ASHRAE standards
• NFPA standards
• IPC / UPC and local plumbing codes

sEducatio

• nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

.Experienc

• eMinimum 4–10 years of experience in MEP / building services consultancy
• .UAE/GCC consultancy experience preferred
• .Experience in residential towers, villas, commercial buildings, hospitality, and mixed-use developments

.Technical Skill
