Responsibilities
- Monitor the ongoing performance of existing Rotating equipment to ensure continual reliability
- Carry out engineering solutions, design, planning, monitoring, and coordination for all rotating mechanical design, procurement, installation, and commissioning support
- Act as the focal point for all mechanical engineering aspects for contractors/consultants
- Ensure effective execution of rotating mechanical engineering project activities in line with plans, budgets, HSE, and quality standards
- Oversee detailed design and engineering activity, formulating procurement/material and installation parameters
- Carry out Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), highlight reasons for equipment failure, and advise on remedial measures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7 years of related experience in the assigned field of engineering
- Exposure to project management and contractor management
- Expertise in selection and design validation of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines, and package equipment
