About the Role
Orion Group seeks a Business Division Manager for a 36-month contract in Qatar onshore. The role leads business aspects including EPC contract management, procurement, planning, and cost control for LNG North Field Expansion Projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all business related aspects such as EPC contract management, non EPC contracts, CAPEX procurement and related startup and initial operations procurement, startup commercial agreements, planning and scheduling, project controls, reporting, vulnerabilities, cost, claims and change management activities across the Company LNG North Field Expansion Projects for EPC 3/4/BOP
- Engage and drive project performance, KPIs and exception reports, and direct and manage various action registers to identify critical issues in support of overall project management
- Manage alignment between various NFXP sub project teams, providing information and resolving misalignment as required
- Develop required Project Performance Management information, evaluating inputs and developing presentations to manage stakeholders and shareholders
- Lead, motivate, and direct multi disciplinary teams and functional resources to contribute to meeting Project Objectives
- Ensure compliance with the Company LNG Project Management System (QGPMS) by managing completion of required deliverables and coordinating Gate Reviews
- Provide support and motivate completion of the Operations Readiness Plan (ORP), ensuring assignment of actions and monitoring completion of deliverables
- Lead the change management process and analysis of change orders for EPC 3/4/BOP, directing preparation of recommendations or position papers
- Oversee the risk management program through identification of issues, risks and trends, developing and tracking action plans to mitigate
- Guide, direct, and drive preparation and finalization of all reports, presentations, notes for Steering Committees, Technical Committee, Tender Committees, P&D Planning reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Commercial, Marketing, Sciences, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, Communication, Technologies, Mathematics, and Statistics
- Twelve (12) years’ experience in business function, including eight (8) years in the Oil and Gas Industry, and including three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory or acting role
- Strong experience in project execution related environment within oil and gas industry with knowledge of project management, engineering including cost control, work planning and activity scheduling
- Experience of large green field projects with multiple EPC contracts and execution teams
- Extensive experience with oil and gas companies, EPC Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry
- Broad experience and demonstrated competence in managing across all phases of project execution including start up and handover and managing technical issues
- Broad knowledge in project planning, scheduling, cost control, project gating system, project execution plan, risk management, change management, interface management, commissioning, and hand over processes/procedures
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in operations, projects, subsurface, etc., and working in integrated organizations
- Experience working in Qatar or the Middle East region

Minimum Requirements
