About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, preparation and execution of all aspects of Compression Platform Structural Fabrication from yard activities to load out
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process
- Manage and ensure successful execution of LQ Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives
- Supervise and control the activities of Contractor/Subcontractors related to Structure fabrication and Mechanical Completion
- Check constructability aspects and compliance to all technical requirements of deliverables provided by Engineering Team Contractor
- Review deviations to company construction standards and recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering
- 8 years specific involvement in project execution with previous leading roles in structural Fabrication within an EPC contract execution environment in the Oil & Gas Industry
- 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication

Job Purpose
- Oversee the planning preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform Structural Fabrication requirements of the project from yard activities to load out ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded.
- Ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering Drawings and industry processes and standards.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
- Manages and ensures successful execution of LQ Topsides structures fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others).
- To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the Structure fabrication, Mechanical Completion.
- To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
- To review deviations to company construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input.
- Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
- Review contractors progress reports and reports for all the activities highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
- To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all structure subject, MC, Pre commissioning and Commissioning.
- To Participate to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required.
- To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years specific involvement in project execution with previous leading roles in structural Fabrication within an EPC contract execution environment in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
- Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook up.
- Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
- Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
