Role Overview
Define and lead end-to-end design and deployment of mission-critical communication platforms for enterprise and industrial environments.
Shape secure, highly available, low-latency interoperability across devices, networks, and dispatch systems.
Architecture and Delivery
- Architect MCPTT, MCVideo, and MCData solutions with QoS, priority, preemption, group communications, and service continuity.
- Develop solution blueprints across access networks, transport, core, IMS or application layers, dispatch, recording, devices, and integration interfaces.
- Drive vendor selection, solution validation, deployment governance, integration planning, cutover strategies, and acceptance testing.
- Define resilience architecture covering geo-redundancy, active-active or active-standby configurations, disaster recovery, backup and restore, and observability.
- Establish security-by-design and compliance guardrails for encryption, identity management, key management, and auditability.
- Support ATP phases, defect qualification, and FAT/SAT readiness with the test team.
- Lead technical workshops and translate operational requirements into technical designs and delivery backlogs.
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of relevant experience delivering mission-critical platform design and deployment across MCX, PS-LTE, or critical communications environments.
- Hands-on experience with Hytera, Airbus, Motorola Solutions, or TDTech.
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP Mission Critical Services, IMS, VoLTE or VoNR, QoS/QCI/5QI, policy control, and session management.
- Experience producing HLD/LLD documentation, test strategies, operational readiness artefacts, and managing multi-vendor technical delivery programmes.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate technical strategies clearly.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, telco cloud, containerized network functions, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Exposure to ETSI, 3GPP, or GSMA guidelines is advantageous.
