Role Overview
Join an infrastructure projects team as a Material Engineer supporting projects in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Ensure construction materials comply with project specifications, municipal standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and approve construction materials for infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and submit material approvals, technical submittals, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on material specifications and approvals.
- Monitor material testing and compliance with project requirements and Abu Dhabi Municipality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Maintain material approval records, test reports, and quality documentation.
- Resolve material-related technical issues with project teams.
- Ensure health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience as a Material Engineer on UAE infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience on Abu Dhabi Municipality or Al Ain Municipality infrastructure projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure construction materials, specifications, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with municipality approval and material submittal procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Project Scope
Projects include roads, utilities, drainage, landscaping, and other infrastructure works within Abu Dhabi Emirate.
The role involves working with consultants, municipalities, and government authorities in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
