MASON - Civil maintenance

Company Description

Work Location

• The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and is onsite.
• Work hours are 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a fixed one-hour overtime period each day.
• The schedule is six working days per week, with nine working hours and a one-hour lunch break per day.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out brickwork, blockwork, plastering, rendering, screeding, and concrete repair works.
• Perform tile laying, grouting, marble and stone installation, and related finishing works.
• Execute waterproofing preparation and repair works.
• Carry out demolition, wall cutting, core cutting, and reinstatement works when required.
• Repair cracks and damage to walls, ceilings, floors, pavements, and other civil structures.
• Mix mortar, cement, concrete, and other construction materials in correct proportions.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to support smooth project execution.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Identify material requirements, report shortages, follow safety policies, and attend emergency maintenance calls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mason in building maintenance, fit-out, or construction projects.
• Residential villa maintenance experience is an advantage.
• Ability to perform masonry, plastering, tiling, and concrete repairs.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and measurements is preferred.
• Must be physically fit and capable of manual work.
• Knowledge of safe working practices and proper use of construction tools and equipment.
