Role Overview

  • The Marketing Manager – Exhibitions is responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated marketing strategies to drive attendance, exhibitor acquisition, and brand visibility for exhibitions and trade shows.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of B2B event marketing, audience segmentation, digital campaigns, and stakeholder management to deliver measurable results and maximize event revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with event objectives; Define target audiences including visitors, exhibitors, and partners; Position the exhibition effectively within the market; Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute multi channel marketing campaigns; Oversee campaign timelines, budgets, and performance tracking; Collaborate with sales teams to support exhibitor acquisition campaigns.
  • Digital Marketing: Manage website content, SEO, and landing pages; Oversee CRM/email marketing campaigns and automation workflows; Work with paid media agencies to run PPC, social ads, and retargeting campaigns; Monitor analytics tools to track performance and optimize ROI.
  • Content & Creative: Develop compelling marketing content including brochures, emails, social posts, press releases, and promotional materials; Ensure brand consistency; Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and agencies.
  • Partnerships & PR: Build relationships with media partners, associations, and industry stakeholders; Manage PR campaigns, press releases, and media outreach; Secure promotional partnerships and cross marketing opportunities.
  • Event Promotion: Drive visitor registration and exhibitor participation through targeted campaigns; Manage promotional calendars and campaign rollouts pre , during, and post event; Support on site marketing activities.
  • Budget & Reporting: Manage marketing budgets efficiently; Track KPIs such as registrations, leads, conversion rates, and ROI; Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within exhibitions, events, or B2B industries.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools (SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, CRM systems).
  • Proven experience in campaign management and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
