Role Overview

  • Responsible for driving paid delegate attendance and revenue for conferences and exhibitions.
  • Involves identifying and engaging prospective delegates, building relationships with senior industry professionals, and converting leads into confirmed registrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive delegate sales revenue through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
  • Identify and prospect potential delegates within target industries and markets.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from initial contact through to conversion.
  • Understand event content, speakers, and value propositions to effectively sell delegate passes.
  • Develop relationships with senior executives, decision makers, and industry professionals.
  • Achieve individual weekly, monthly, and event specific sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and sales performance within the CRM.
  • Collaborate with marketing and conference production teams to improve lead generation and delegate acquisition.
  • Conduct regular follow ups with prospects and manage objections effectively.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to support event growth and audience development.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in delegate sales, telesales, B2B sales, exhibitions, conferences, or a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
  • Confident in outbound prospecting and engaging senior level professionals.
  • Commercially driven, proactive, and results oriented.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales prospecting tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, target driven environment.
